We use raised feeders for our dog's water and food bowls. For the do-it-yourselfer's; you can purchase cement pavers from your local building supply store. I recommend the 12" square or round pavers that are 2" thick. The nice thing about using pavers is you can make them as high as you need by adding a paver to heighten or remove a paver to shorten. If you drill some holes in the top paver; you can insert some screws or nails to help keep the water/food bowl in place.
